‘Let Us Come Together’

The celebration of Feast of Our Lady of the Mount takes a special place in our culture, traditions and ritualistic celebrations which have descended from our forefathers. We call this celebration as ‘Family Feast’ or ‘Harvest Feast’. We have planned a special issue on the occasion of the Blessed Mother Mary’s Birthday the subject being ‘Devotion to Blessed Mary’. There will be special articles on Our Blessed Mother and poems showing religious, social and historical perspective . As this would be a fitting occasion to increase devotion to our Blessed Mother, your messages, advertisements etc. would be read by thousands of Konkani people in India and abroad and would know more about you. Therefore, please hurry up and do not waste this opportunity. The ‘Divo’ Issue dated Sept.8, 2001 will be a special issue dedicated to Our Lady of the Mount.        The forthcoming DIVO special issue 'Let us Come together' is planned with twin objectives. The first one being to celebrate Blessed Mother Mary's birthday as a meaningful family feast. And the other one is to honour with a cash gift to the needy who have served Konkani.

       Among the ones those who have served Konkani, some are facing difficult time today need to be remembered, appreciated, encouraged and supported. With this view in mind DIVO has decided to honour a few selected one's with the co-operation of readers and wellwishers.

      Out of the total collection from Ads in the forthcoming special issue, 25% amount will be reserved separately which will be given away as cash gifts.

     Every Konkani lover is invited to associate and cooprate in making this dream come true to a grand success.
